Tricia and Russell

"The first time we talked on the phone, it lasted about 2 ½ hours. This seemed like a good sign." Tricia was right; it was a good sign! An unexpected turn of events led Tricia and Russell to a first date of playing board games at Russell’s house. After a while of seeing one another, Tricia baked Russell a strawberry pie, his favorite, and he claims that was the moment he knew it was love.

After only three months of dating, Tricia and Russell decided that they could not live without one another and broke the happy news to their families. They were overjoyed and agreed, "When you know, you know."Russell surprised Tricia with a candlelit proposal in what he claims was the nicest room in the house...the bathroom! She said yes, of course, and married Russell on December 21, 2003.Both Tricia and Russell were "tired of the run around," and felt that GE’s profiles and videos saved them a lot of valuable time in the search process. "GE isn’t necessarily a quick answer, but if you give it time, the results are well worth it!"

Kim and Warren

Walking into Great Expectations was the best move these two lovebirds ever made! Even though Kim turned Warren down the first time he selected her, Kim changed her mind and it’s history from that day on! They agreed to meet at GE’s Frozen Drink Social in the library, and ended up spending lots of time together. After dating for two years, Kim and Warren were sure that they were each other’s best friend and decided that the time was right to become married.

They said their vows to one another August 23, 2003 and honeymooned in sunny Jamaica. Kim said that she had been married for 18 years and was out of the dating scene. GE was an "out of the ordinary way" to meet new singles. Warren explains that you have to have an open mind when attending the GE parties and reminds that a "20 minute coffee chat" is harmless and often a great way to get to know someone on a first date. Kim and Warren both agree that they are meant for one another. "We have no doubts...we will be together always!"
